Hose Assembly Production Clerk
This position is responsible for efficiently processing quality hose assemblies that meet customer standards while representing the Company in a professional and courteous manner.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Read work orders and shipping orders to determine items required for shipment.
- Make sure orders are shipped by or on required date.
- Follow NAHAD Hydraulic Hose Assembly Guidelines.
- Follow Hydra-Flex Hose Production and Quality Standards
- Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for employees and visitors.
- Assemble customer hose orders from stock and place orders in inspection area for final inspection.
- Mark materials with identifying information using customer preferred method.
- Assist in counting physical inventory.
- Complete assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.
- Provide Will Call customers with timely, courtesy and respectful service.
- Obtain a general knowledge of Hydra-Flex product lines.
- Obtain a general knowledge of Hydra-Flex business software.
- Obtain a general knowledge of Form Docs Filler.
- Follow written work instructions and procedures as they relate to ISO-9001 Quality System.
- Follow Hydra-Flex policies and work rules as defined by the Employee Handbook.
- Understand and practice 5-S + Safety by maintaining a clean and organized workplace.
- Follow safe work practices and wear proper PPE in designated areas and for appropriate job tasks.
- Provide assistance to other departments as necessary.
Warehouse Clerk
This position is responsible for warehouse functions pertaining to pulling, packing and shipping customer orders with accuracy and efficiency.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Process shipping orders while ensuring proper packaging and on-time delivery.
- Follow customer requirements when processing orders.
- Perform facility maintenance responsibilities as instructed.
- Assist in physical inventory count.
- Use weight-count scales to ensure proper counts of orders.
- Obtain general knowledge of Hydra-Flex product lines and business software as it pertains to position.
- Obtain comprehensive knowledge of all shipping formats (i.e., UPS, FEDEX, etc.)
- Coordinate outgoing shipments.
- Ensure order quality through visual inspection.
- Operate fork-truck and pallet-jack to move product around warehouse in a safe manner.
- Operate various light machinery (i.e., bandsaw, drill press, etc.)
- Assist Will-Call Customers with timely and courteous service.
- Follow written work instructions and procedures as they relate to ISO-9001 Quality System.
